Herschede gold center scroll - "Charles R. Sligh"

Description: Original Herschede hand gold dipped dial scroll center. Center scroll has the three arbor winding holes and center hand hole. Above the hand center hole is the second ring hole. Center Scroll Size: 6" diameter. Engraved "Charles R. Sligh". Fits the Herschede tubular bell grandfather movement dials that have the 11" chapter ring with a 6" I.D. The center scroll is a unique piece of history. Sligh sold Herschede movements in their own cases in the early 1980's when The Herschede Hall Clock Co. offered movements only to clock companies such as Sligh/Trend and Howard Miller.
