Description: Recently acquired from a local New Jersey estate is this genuine cowhide bound handwritten diary with gilt fore-edges describing daily activities and some of the entries indicate they were made by a medical doctor who was practicing in New Jersey. The estate from which this diary was obtained had memorabilia indicating a doctor lived there previously. Each page allows entries for one day, but there are lines for different years so the entries on a single page refer to different years. The entries for Jan 1 indicate the years 1950 - 1953, so I think the entries for a particular day correspond to those years based on the position on the page. The entries are generally fairly brief and there are not entries for every page and every year.
