Description: You are buying a new never displayed hand painted bee as a little wood cut-out with two other hand painted bees flying around the purple flowers. The main wood is basswood and it is 11" in height x 9 3/4" wide and is 1/2" thick. The bee I cut out on my bandsaw, then painted it and is glued on from the front -see other pictures and is made out of 1/2" (actual 7/16") aspen wood. The bee is 1 1/4" x 2". I also drilled two small holes on the top of the bee and put two wires in it for the antennas-so it sticks out. Looks like a 3D picture. The basswood is bought from a hobby store. The aspen wood is bought from and general store that carries wood. You can see I have put a hanger on the back for easy hanging. I painted this with acrylic paints with a coat of polycrylic on it.
