Description: Gustav Holst, Sir Malcolm Sargent - The Planets Label:His Masters Voice - ASD 269 Format:Vinyl, LP, Stereo, 2nd Label Country:UK Released: Genre:Classical All records are graded to the Record Collector Guidelines, with extra information added as required when play tested. Also all photos above are of the exact record you will receive if purchased. This record is in excellent+ condition. It has just a few spindle marks visible on the labels and overall they are clean, bright and in really nice condition with no scuffs, stains or pen marks. As for the vinyl itself, both sides are very clean with a lovely lustre and little showing in normal light. There is one faint sleeve mark/light scuff on side 1 but this is very light and of course cannot be felt. Other than this there is little evident in normal light, with just some minor and faint wispy lines showing under bright light. Overall it is a nice tidy copy with just minor signs of use to its playing surfaces. I play tested the record and it played well with no major issues or serious levels of interference. It lays flat on the deck and upon playing there is little to no movement in the record arm. The sound produced is excellent throughout with no skips, sticks or annoying tics. There is also no major levels of surface noise with the general clarity excellent. It does however have the occasional minor light noise or splutter of surface noise in places(quiet sections, interludes etc). This is not loud or serious but there is a trace amount in places. The front laminated sleeve is in excellent+ condition. It has little to no rubbing to the edges and corners with the text along the spine all clearly legible. There are no scuffs, tears or pen marks on the sleeve and hardly any creasing. There is a hint of a ring mark showing on the front however, and also a strange line(going from top to bottom) in the laminate(far left side). There is also some light and general signs of age to the laminated front, minor wear to the original sticker and some age related grubbiness/light discolouring to the rear. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition. It contains its original plain HMV/EMI poly-lined inner which is in excellent- condition with no splits, tears or pen marks but with some creasing, discolouring and general signs of age. The record will be packaged in between cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery. I hope my photos are comprehensive enough but if you have any questions then don't hesitate to contact me. Also please check my eBay feedback for a positive history of record grading, A1 communication and quick delivery times. Many thanks for looking.
