Description: Up for bids is a Goebel MI Hummel Club #845 "Too Shy To Sing" TMK-8 Exclusive Edition 2003 Figure Members' Exclusive Preview Edition for Club year 2003/2004. This figurine was first released in the U.S. market in 2003 for members of the M.I. Hummel Club only and not sold as an open edition. The Hummel was originally modeled by master sculptor Helmut Fischer in 2002. It has an incised 2002 copyright date along with TMK-8 trademark. Also bears the inscription: "M.I. HUMMEL CLUB Membership Year 2003/2004" applied by blue decal. A large black flying bumble bee is located on the bottom, within the half circle. The original issue price was $50 in 2003, in addition to the member's redemption card. Goebel reserves the right to re-introduce this figurine as an open edition, minus the special backstamp. This is a closed exclusive edition.
