Description: Vintage Fans and Collectors! Rare and Unusual Girard Perregaux automatic, high-end "Chronometer HF" (high frequency) Swiss movement, gold top, steel back, white dial. An elegant 34 mm dress watch in itself, but what sets this apart is its unusual approach to displaying and tracking day and date: while the date is displayed conventionally at 3 o'clock, two concentric and independent bezels (external date to 31 and internal for 5 weeks of days) can be rotated to match up date and day of the week. The result is a kind of "perpetual calendar" in that, once matching the date and day, you can see ahead (or behind) what day of the week a particular recent date falls, up to a month forward or back.
