Germany Kewpie Rose O'Neill LOT of 3 plus Cousin. Original labels. Signed!

Description: This lot includes three bisque Kewpie dolls, and a bisque Kewpie "Cousin". These cuties are in great condition despite their age. There are minor scuffs, paint loss, loosened joints, dust residue, which are natural for the age and loved condition. Please see photos for condition as I've made my best attempts to clearly share this. I've been told the bows are original to dolls but I cannot confirm this. The bows show signs of deterioration & frays but are simply sweet. I am also unsure about the origin of the skirt on the tiny Kewpie and whether this is original - I've found nothing similar in my research. This set has been in my husband's family for many generations (5) and were the original owners. 1) Tiny Kewpie- approximately 2" tall. Static hands up. Blue wings. Comes with a removable fuchsia flapper skirt. 2) Left Glance Kewpie- approximately 4.5" tall. "Kewpie Germany" label on front, copyright label on back. Pencil signature (?) on bottom. Small chip on middle finger of left hand. Blue wings. Minor loose joints with slight exposed thread on the left shoulder. 3) Right Glance Kewpie- approximately 5" tall. "Kewpie Germany" label on front. Unknown signature on back. Looser arm joints as above but secure. Faded or lightly impressed O'Neill signature on bottom. Minor glaze flaw above right ear. 4) Kewpie "Cousin"- 5.5" tall. Much looser joints that expose the interior of the bisque body but doesn't feel too fragile to hold. There is a manufacturing indent flaw in the middle of the forehead. It is not overly obvious. Please contact me with any questions or requests for additional photos. This is a great collection!
