Description: A Superb 18th century Green shagreen draughtsman’s etui. Bearing retail label for Shuttleworth No. 23 Ludgate Street London. Henry and his Son were active from 1732 to 1797 at this address. The sector rule is also engraved “ Shuttleworth London” as pictured. The Green Ray Skin case is in fine Antique condition with a few areas of expected wear as pictured. The hinge and lid are in excellent order. Silver mounts with blank cartouche to lid. A scarce survivor from this eminent 18th Century maker. Height 13.5cm
