Fine 25” Vintage Baule Maternity Wood Carved Sculpture Statue Côte d’Ivoire

Description: Featuring a LARGE 25.5 inch Baule African maternity fertility wood carving sculpture/statue. Made of dark toned wood with an elongated neck it is statuesque with an authentic vintage look to it. Handmade and carved on the Ivory Coast Côte d’Ivoire with amazing detail and proportion. In good pre owned condition; wear is present in some areas, scuffing on the elbows and color loss in several parts. There are surface level hairline cracks on the head and feet but the piece is structurally sound, strong and durable. All wear is consistent with the vintage. Please see photos.
