Description: Up for auction/sale is my Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster in faded classic Sunburst. I heard this guitar advertised as a "Soft Relic." There are lots of little purposeful dings and scrapes and the faded paint job is dope. I weighed the guitar on a scale and my very best guess is 7.4 pounds. The method I used was to weigh myself, then weigh myself holding the guitar. So I'm guessing that is 7 pounds, 6.4 ounces. Disclaimer: that is my very best guess but I do not guarantee the weight as my scale only weighs to the tenth of a pound, not a hundredth like I'd hoped. I believe the guitar to be a 2002. I am not the original owner and the serial number only proves it's later than 1999. The copywrite on the owner's manual is 2002. I purchased the guitar in 2011 and have played it a moderate amount but the frets and fretboard are nice. No issues. My favorite thing about this guitar is how well it stays in tune. It's amazing. You will notice the tuner for the high E is bent a little bit. Still works just fine. The only real flaw is there is a spot on the back of the neck that looks like the shellac(?) was removed, maybe by it leaning on a guitar stand too long? The size of the spot is about 1.5" x 0.5 inch and does not affect the playability - I almost forgot to mention it; that's how minor it is, in my opinion. The case has seen some wear but hopefully the photos tell the story. If you've got questions, hit me up.
