Description: Finest 1890's, elegant dollhouse Colonial Lady.... Outstanding, 7 1/4" tall, antique bisque shoulderhead, dollhouse lady figure for your dollhouse family. She has the highest quality molded and painted features with blue eyes, molded eyelids, dainty mouth and excellent blushed coloring as well as detailed bisque lower arms with finely detailed hands, long slender legs, black molded shoes with heels and original linen body with sawdust filling. She has her original, finely fashioned, handsewn, brown hair wig with center part and long curls around her tiny ears and wears a fabulously detailed, plaid silk gown with scalloped hem, beneath a fitted and silk lined, black felt jacket and terrific blue felt bonnet with large brim and original silk ribbon bows and chin ties. She is in excellent, clean condition with no repairs, no fading or stains and no odors as she is from a smoke free home. Highest quality little doll, circa 1900, and a special treasure as these earliest dolls are quite difficult to find!
