Description: Hardback. P.F. COLLIER & SON CORPORATION PUBLISHERS. Set of three Ernest Hemmingway Novels. Classic Editions. These books reflect age and remain in very good reading condition. Pages have toning; free of writing, highlighting and underlining. Edges have toning, darker on top edges, and shelving/ handling wear. Binding and hinges are strong; spine has pulled back from binding but all pages are firmly attached. Navy blue covers with gold lettering on the side are in very good condition with lightly rubbed corners and spine edges. Books are in remarkable condition for their age. Exceptions are listed below(Note: Any glare or shadows on the photographs are due to lighting and are not on the book. The book covers are a dark navy blue which is not clear in a few of the photos.) 1) "Death In The Afternoon", 19322) "To Have and Have Not", 1937. Numerous pages have small "dots" or "spots" - does not affect the text. There is a small stain on the bottom edges, and a small scraped spot on the front end page.3) "The Fifth Column and the First Forty-Nine Stories", 1938.
