Description: Eddy Merckx Century Dura Ace 53 cm Columbus TSX. This bike has been unused for many years but after a quick clean up and test ride it has no issues. Rides true and smooth, shifts crisply and brakes fine. There is some corrosion, I’ve made an effort to include it in the pictures. I suspect the original owner was a heavy sweater. You can see the pitting on the lower portion of the quill- I have lubed it up well but left the quill raised so the pitting is visible. The quill could certainly be lowered and the pitting would not be visible, but again, I believe the owner was a heavy sweater and I wanted to be upfront about it. There is also some corrosion on the chainstays, most of it on the non drive side. Bike will be carefully packed, please review my feedback and know I pack the bike like I would want it packed if I were buying it.
