Description: This Antique RS Prussian Hand Painted Roses Hydrangeas Tankard Pitcher Vase Decanter is very beautiful with its design of pink roses and white hydrangeas set off against turquoise and morning glories. Because of the Art Nouveau esthetic, it was probably made between 1900-1914. The tankard is in great condition. Some dirt/staining in interior which we did not attempt to clean out. It measures 10.5" tall by 8-3/4" wide at the widest point. The top opening is 6" long by 4" wide. This is made by RS Prussia Company in Suhl, Germany from the late 1800s through World War I. The R.S. Prussia company manufactured a wide range of china pieces and sets, including teapots, cups and saucers, plates, sugar bowls, and even chocolate sets. Marked "R.S. Prussia" in red lettering on the bottom. Wreath is faded out over time. Original Condition Unaltered, Some Imperfections.
