Description: A rare find - dollhouse Miniature toy train kit and railroad layout building kits by Lew and Barbara Kummerow of The Kummerows Studio of Miniature Design. These kits are small scale with the buildings measuring 1/2 inch log and smaller. They can be used to make a toy in a 1:12 scale house or toy store. Train, buildings and "tunnel" are molded material. Simply paint desired colors and glue to the train layout (base included). Material for faux greenery surface is included. Note that I opened one of the packages only to find out the maker, as the label was not visible originally. This is an iconic set by the Kummerows, who well-known for their dollhouse miniatures and toys. They have long since retired, and Barbara sadly passed a few years ago. Note: Vintage Kummerow Catalog shown in last photo is NOT included, as it is part of my personal Kummerow miniature collecton. We have acquired a HUGE collection of brand new one quarter and 1:144 scale kits from a private collector! And, we also purchased many artist made 1:48 scale items as well!
