Description: Numbered and signed Special Edition "Jack" from Dean's Rag Book, of Great Britain, named in honor of Jack Crane, who in the 1940s traced his pattern from hard cover book, to preserve it in case of war. Jack has a wonderful GROWLER, is beige mohair, which was only used for special editions. He has a shaved snout, big eyes and shaved nose, mouth and paw pads. He sports a burgundy velvet bow tie. He has his Certificate of Authenticity, is number 1356 and is signed by the Managing Director at time of production, Neil Miller. He is in his original box, though it is a little bent, and has the original COA tag. Dean's Rag Book Company, founded in 1903, is Britain's oldest teddy bear manufacturer. This guy is heavy, very lovable and huggable and would like to find another happy home. Thanks for looking.
