Description: Beautiful pendant lamp from the Danish pottery AXELLA made by the famous ceramicist designer Jette Helleroe. The lamp has the most amazing glaze with a hobnail-style decoration, and round holes with soft light shining through. The design was founded by Danish ceramist Aksel Larsen around 1970. Sometime around 1978, the name changes to AXELLA Keramik (Axella Pottery) and at a later point to AXELLA design. The company closes in 1987. Danish ceramicist Jette Hellere was the most famous pottery maker who worked for Axella The light is in an excellent vintage condition. The light has got 2 little very hard to notice glaze knocks on the edge of the round holes.. and could easily be coloured in with a black pen. Please see the last photo.
