Customized American Girl 18" Doll Kit Kittredge

Description: This is a customized, refurbished Kit Kittredge American Girl doll in good used condition. She has been customized and is looking more Anne of Green Gables than Kit now! Her limbs are tight, her eyes open and close, her neck strings are intact. Her neck is stamped Pleasant Company and she is likely originally from the early 2000s. She has a small AG body tag. She now features a vegan mohair wig from Zazou dolls, STUNNING long red curls. Note that these wigs are thick and heavy, and put the dolls slightly off balance because of the weight. This wig has some short hairs in the back to allow it to be parted if desired. It has been positioned with the part off-center but can still part nicely for pigtails. The red hair is a great match for her golden eyebrows and freckles! She has the following issues: 1. Her cloth body is mostly clean, one mark on the lower back, see photo.2. Her vinyl limbs are largely clean, with some light white marks on the vinyl, see photos. The main ones are a line on the back of one leg and a dot on her cheek. Not dramatic but visible when looking closely. See photos. A magic eraser did not get rid of these but I didn't try any other methods to remove them. 3. Her original eyes were damaged and have been replaced with bright green Felicity eyes. There was some fading of the paint on the Felicity eyelids so I painted them with acrylic to cover this. This paint job is not perfect (you can see brush marks) and has not been sealed (so it could wash off with water). If she would mainly be standing with her eyes open I would say this isn't much of an issue, but to be a full-on play doll I would say she ideally would get new eyes. See photo. The green is so good with the red hair! Sadly Felicity eyes are hard to come by. She comes with a Kirsten Meet Dress tagged 1986 Pleasant Company in good used condition with 2 spots at the waist where the fabric is unraveling, see photo.
