Description: A new simple diagnostic tool for micro-controller projects. The Circuit Slices LED Board is a Shield for Uno header compatible micro-controller boards used to quickly read the state of each pin on an Arduino™ “bus”. Each data pin’s state is indicated with an individual LED. LEDs also indicate 5V and 3V power. Data lines are buffered, so that the LEDs will not load-down controller pins. This Shield “monitors” power and data pins and can be used with most controller boards having standard shield headers. Specifications for the CS Shield LED Board 6 LEDs for A0 to A5, Analog pins. Each pin buffered. 14 LEDs for Digital / PWM pins. Each pin buffered. 2 LEDs for Rest, IOREF. Each pin buffered. 2 LEDs for SCL and SDA. Each pin buffered. 2 LEDs for 5V, 3.3V. Not buffered. Uses three 74HC540 inverting ‘octal’ buffer ICs to drive the LEDs. All LEDs are red. All buffer input pins are floating and therefore this shield should only be powered after connection to a controller board.
