Description: CAULDON China Dinner Plate Center Floral Motif & Gold Trim c.1915 England #7537 About the Plate On offer is a lovely Cauldron, England, Dinner Plate. From the backstamp my research tells me that this plate was manufactured around c.1911-1920, when this backstamp was in effect. The pattern number is 7537 and is rare to find. The plate has a detailed floral motif at its center and is surrounded with a sand colored band with thin gold rims before and after it. A darker sand colored small band is next and has a gold pattern on top, which is followed with a thin sand colored band and finished with a gold rim on the outer edge of the plate. The bottom is backstamped with a green mark: Cauldron, England. The pattern number is also given on the back of the plate (see last picture). This dish is in excellent vintage condition. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. Note: the first picture does not pick up the gold very well - hence my close up pictures of the plate to show you how lovely the gold is.
