Unique to this map page is that it shows various ship and plane explorations between 1928 and 1933, which include the explorations made by Admiral Byrd. This map also shows an overall map of the South Pole and a detail map along the left side. This entire map page measures about 20" x 12-3/4" and the entire map image measures about 18-1/2" x 10-1/2". ** On the reverse side of this map page is a partial map. *** I have been a long time seller on the other Big E site with close to 10,000 sales in shop SnapshotsVintageMaps.
