Description: Wonderful vintage photo album from daily life in the 1950s in the midwestern states of Illinois and Iowa. Saw many references to Dixon and Mount Morris, Illinois, as well as Iowa. Most photos are of daily life, holidays, family events, fishing, etc.... Many religious as well as the husband in the album was a reverend. Plus lots of ephemera in the side pockets of the album. The album itself has approximately 250 photos in it. Please note that an adhesive was used for the photos in the album. They may come out individually, but would take some work. Dimensions of the closed album are approximately 10" x 13". In addition to the album pages, there were lots of additional photos and ephemera in the side pockets including the following.... -- LOTS of photo negatives. Included negative photos are just a sampling.-- One newspaper and many news clippings.-- Additional photos.-- Greeting cards, postcards, etc.... Photo album will be shipped securely with tracking.
