On October 11, President Lopes Mateos gave a dinner in honor of President Eisenhower, followed by a reception for Lopez Mateos at the Embassy. The following day, the Mexican President attended a session of he Council of the Organizations' of American States, a luncheon at the National Press Club, and a dinner given by the White House Correspondents' Association in honor of President Eisenhower.
