This package includes the Brian Crower Stage 3 Camshafts, Brian Crower Titanium Retainers, Brian Crower Valve Springs, Brian Crower Valves, and Brian Crower Cam Gears. Brian Crower Stage Three Honda/Acura B-Series VTEC cams are manufactured to top-quality specs. Brian Crower high performance camshafts are ground on state-of-the-art CNC cam grinders to insure accuracy and tolerances to within .02mm. Every Brian Crower camshaft profile has been prototyped and dyno tested for proven horsepower results prior to placed into mass production. By grinding cores in high volume, Brian Crower, Inc. is able to pass the cost savings on to the end user. Make no mistake, these are top quality Honda/Acura cams at an affordable price. All Brian Crower camshafts are checked on a high speed, sub-micron accuracy measuring gauge. The Adcole Camshaft Measuring System uses individual measuring heads for each cam journal and cam lobe, with .01 micron resolution, taking one datum point each 1/10th of a degree or 3,600 data points per revolution. Measuring camshafts for rise error and chattermark detection, this model can measure 200 parts per hour. Titanium retainers are for use in race applications that see frequent engine rebuilds. BC valves are one piece design with a friction welded Stellite tip for the best possible performance. Every valve is made from premium grade, heat resistant stainless steel material to insure reliability with high boost and/or high rpm applications. The undercut stem above the head area not only reduces overall weight for extended rpm potential, but also significantly improves air/fuel flow in and out of the combustion chamber. Every valve is fully machined and features a swirl polished finish under the head. Includes a complete set of 16 Brian Crower Valves(8x Intake - Standard 33mm size and 8x Exhaust - Standard 28mm Size) BC adjustable cam gears deliver the easiest way to dial in more horsepower and/or torque without getting underneath the valve cover, disassembling the engine or dealing with onboard electronics. BC gears are CNC machined from aerospace grade, 6061-T6 billet aluminum for ultimate tensile strength. Easy to read, laser etched face features micrometer style markings for precise adjustment (up to 10 degrees in each direction) and quick tunability. Each hub is held down by four Grade-8 hex bolts for maximum clamping ability. Hard anodized black finish prevents premature surface wear.
