Description: This is an Extremely Rare Muscovy Duck Decoy made by Tom Taber with only a handful of carvings available to the public and decoy dealers when it was made. The carving is exceptionally well done with detailed head and feather carving as well as Taber's unique staining that allows the beauty of the woodgrain to show through the finish. The beak and tail feathers were professionally refinished to like new condition due to damage to the finish at the tail and beak. The decoy measures approximately 16 1/2" long, by 6 1/2" wide by 7 1/4" tall with Tom Tabers Signature stamped at the base. It is being sold as is with shipping at a fixed cost of $28 to all buyers in the Continental US only. Extreme care will be used in the packing process to help the decoy arrive undamaged due to poor carriers.
