A special blend of urethane polymers are applied to front, back, and edges. The wood grain virtually "drinks" the mixture to form a permanent, weather-proof seal. Two coats of quality House Paint is applied to both, front and back. Each coat on the front is sanded smooth. We use Enamel paint on the detail painting -for its weather and sunlight resistance. The final step is to brush apply 2 thick coats of Satin-finish, non-yellowing polyurethane sealer.
