Almost no signs of wear and no notable damage whatsoever, but some minor dulling to gloss on panels front and back and some age toning (yellowing) to inner faces. Book is unmarked; no writing / names in front, and no marking within. Like jacket, book exhibits virtually no notable wear or signs of use / handling; boards straight and clean, and corners not bumped, but the author's name has "transferred" from the jacket to the blue paper of the front board (see photos), and some UV fading / discoloration is evident to extremities of boards. Spine, quarter-bound in black with gilt titles, remains very sharp and bright, nearly as-new. Binding is sound, square and tight, and text block is complete and very nice, save for some age toning at upper page edges, with crisp, clean leaves throughout.
