Antique Victorian Pairpoint Mt. Washington Biscuit Cracker Jar Floral

Description: For sale is a beautiful Pairpoint Mt. Washington biscuit or cracker jar. Dating from around 1894, this beautiful milk glass jar features lovely hand painted purple flowers with a band of cobalt blue around the center- really striking and draws attention to the shape of the jar. A few touches of gold accent can be seen on the flowers and leaves. The ruffled floral patterned lid and handle are what I believe to be silver-plate, and they are marked with the P in diamond shape, for Pairpoint, and has the number 4420. The silver part does slightly wiggle but is still firmly in place. In excellent vintage condition with no flaws noted but please see pictures for details. There is a glaze pop on the blue stripe, but it is not a chip. The jar itself measures 6 1/8" tall to the fluted rim, and 10" total with handle upright.
