Description: This is a stunning original antique (late 19th century) solid walnut 5 tier floor shelf, loaded with character including serpentine cut and routed shelves of graduating sizes, turned spindle legs and finials throughout, and a scroll cut fretwork crest on the back edge of the top two shelves. Everything on this shelf is original; there are no replacement parts, and it is sturdy, solid, and fully functional. The shelf has some minor damage from age and use including some typical wear to the top surface of each shelf from use (worn spots in the finish, faint stains, scuffs, scratches) and only very minor light wear elsewhere. The fretwork along the top has a glued crack that is tight and solid. There is also a tight crack on the very edge of one of the shelves (shown in the photos). All finials are intact and complete with no tips missing. All pieces easily screw together, except the feet which were glued in place. The shelf will be disassembled for shipping and all pieces will be labeled for easy reassembly. Outer dimensions are 33" L x 12" W x 63" H and there is 12 1/2" of space above the bottom shelf, 12" above the second from the bottom, 11" above the third, and 10" between the fourth and top. All pieces will be packed securely and fully insured during shipping. Please provide a street address for shipping as this will not be delivered to a PO box.
