Description: Antique Ridgway Purple Transferware "Pomerania" Soup Tureen 1835 For sale is this fine ornate purple and purple-red transferware Staffordshire soup tureen with cover. The pattern is printed in purple. The large ornate soup tureen is 14 inches wide across the ornate applied handles by 10 inches deep by 10 inches tall. The two piece set weighs 6 lbs. It is printed in fine "Pomerania" pattern by John Ridgway & Co, of Hanley, Staffordshire. No maker's mark. Circa 1835. Condition: Excellent. There is a slight color difference between purple lid and the red-purple base. Please view the detail photos. The shipping weight is 12 lbs. Domestic shipping is $24.95.
