Description: Gorgeous antique brass cherub converted table lamp with a black marble base. Looks as if there were a few different components. The brass cherub with a wrap and a bird seems to be from a gas or oil lamp and the marble base may not be original-I cannot verify either way but I cannot find a brass gold gilt cherub with that large of a marble base. Under the marble base there is a wood carved base that was attached. The hanging prisms are two tones-some are gold and some are silver-not sure which ones are original. There is a hurricane globe as shown in photos. The light socket has cut outs for a toggle switch but that is not a feature on this lamp. There is a cord switch made by Gilbert. This is a working lamp and is in overall good condition. There is some chipping on some of the prisms as shown in photos-these are easily replaceable and there are 12 prisms that come with this lamp. There are 24 holes so there is a potential for more prisms if you decide to add more but 12 seems like a nice balance. See all photos for exact condition. Measures 23 1/2”H x 6 3/4” base diameter. Prisms are 2 7/8”L (longer tapered prisms) and the smaller octagon prism is 5/8”L. The glass globe is 12”L. Measures 23
