Description: Hi There & Welcome To My Auction Today for your consideration is a breathtaking little Dresden urn. I know exactly nothing about it. I have never seen or bought another one since. I have kept this one for many, many years. But I am nearly 70 yrs. Old now living on a limited income & need to downsize my treasures. The stuff attached to this piece light gray in color is earthquake clay & I will remove it as it comes off easily, before Shipping. It is the prettiest urn I have seen. It is approximately 9 & 1/2" tall. It has 2 beautiful Ram's heads on each side. The base and part of the lower body have wonderful pastel colors of light pink & light sky blue. It is adorned with dozens & dozens of hand made beautiful flowers. Some of the larger ones do have chips. It is exactly how I found it.(minus the earthquake clay) I hope you can see how it is marked. I can make out Dresden, I hope I am spelling that correctly & about it is I think initials in some fancy form. It looks like, with these old eyes, which are failing me now but maybe the initials "CS" ?? The body of the urn itself is solid with no cracks or chips that I can find. Only some of the flowers. The scene on one side is NOT a decal but is actually hand-painted. Why the gentleman's hair is bald on the side but since hand painted it must of been done purposely. This is when I used my magnified it. I thought it was a decal at first and maybe a fold or mistake but no, it's all hand-painted. I think it's the prettiest little nick-nack I ever found in nearly 70 yrs. of Antique treasure hunting. I suspect the chips on the larger flowers affect its value. But not ever knowing what it was before, I have no idea of its value. I have loved it & enjoyed it for many years, now it's your turn:-) I will double-box & use great packing materials to ensure its journey to you, will arrive SAFE to you. Unfortunately, because of a few bad apples, I no longer accept returns or give refunds. Please look carefully at all the pictures as they are an important part of my description. Feel free to ask for more pictures or ask more questions. Thank you for understanding. As always, may God bless you and yours, Kat
