Johnson also published and soldthe Universal Cyclopaedia, which included copperplate engraved maps thatwere then hand-colored, different from the maps published in his atlas, adaptedto the size and needs of the encyclopedia. Quite attractive in their own right,they frame quite well, in part because of their smaller size. Size: two-page folded map, 13.5 x 10.75inches (about 1 inch margin all around) Condition: Excellent condition,center fold line as issued, paper lightly age toned, no marks of any sort, veryattractive light pastel coloring, great for framing.
