Description: Up for sale are 4 antique Arnold Bennett books. This prolific English writer is widely recognized today, and this lot contains some of his most notable works. The Human Machine, undated Author's Edition. (First published 1908.) Mental Efficiency and Other Hints to Men and Women, 1911 1st edition. Self & Self-Management: Essays About Existing, 1918 1st edition. All in excellent condition. 1925 How To Live. This is a later reprint containing all of the above works, plus How To Live on 24 Hours a Day. Foxing to front and back pasteboards. Ex libris present. No writing noted. Some page tanning, but they remain crisp and bright. No DJ. Meets eBay's requirements for "good" condition, and would meet "very good" were dust jackets present. 3 out of 4 of these were originally issued from the publisher without a DJ, so only one is actually "missing" a DJ. Please see detailed description in listing and view photos of actual items. These antique books are part of a collection that was professionally cleaned by a Pennsylvania restoration company (see company’s info in last photo).
