Description: Antique 1880 "Empire State Diary" daily journal of one John C. Mann (1843-1895) in Wayne county, New York. Also contains a small number of entries for early 1881. It seems likely that he was a farmer since many of the entries mention working with grain and other crops. Filled front to back on nearly every page with diary entries and some scribbled figures. Rear hinge cracked. Book does have a tobacco smell. Measures 6" x 3". Shipping on multiple items is combined whenever possible.
