An onlooker would not mistake them for new shoes because they do not look the part. They look like shoes that have seen prior service. This opinion is based on their overall appearance as opposed to any particular flaw(s). That said, they are totally problem-free and just show honest wear. Close examination reveals that the white rubber sides of the soles are not as pristine and perfect as new. These examples show a tinge of color from use. The uppers are clean taken as a whole. However, there are some areas where the black dye originally used to create the color has either faded or just eroded out. These areas are very subtle though. There is noticeable friction/rub at the toe areas. It is not a problem but simply a cosmetic shortcoming. The insides are clean and the wear on the bottoms is mild to moderate. Overall these shoes are acceptable and have a good amount of life ahead of them. The synthetic mesh uppers are true black colored. The three stripes on the inner and outer side of each are very light gray. Loops on the backs for carrying/hanging. Original laces and padded insoles. Lightweight.
