Description: Accurist Vintage 9K Gold Tuxedo Dial Watch Manual Wind: I am offering for sale an absolutely gorgeous vintage Accurist wristwatch in a 9K gold case. The watch is in very good condition and is running well. It exhibits a beautiful black and silvered dial and golden dauphin hands, completed with a gold seconds sweep hand. The style is often affectionately given the moniker “tuxedo”. The watch is powered by an AS 2390 manual wind 21 jewelled movement and the case is hallmarked for Edinburgh which dates the watch from 1958. Unfortunately, I can not show the movement or markings as the watch is opened from the top/crystal rather than by removing the case-back. I am not a watchmaker and do not have the skills to do this! Although originally intended as a man’s watch, at 33.7 mm in diameter (excluding the crown) it may also appeal to a lady who may prefer a slightly larger watch. The watch comes on a new light brown genuine lizard strap and is housed in a quality wooden storage box.
