This is KW Wilson specialty tool 4628-N (physically & functionally identical to Manzel 4628-E), Pinion Bearing Cup Installer Set, for 1949-54 Ford passenger car, Station Wagon & ½ ton trucks & 52-54 Mercury. This is a MASSIVE heavy duty tool that pulls the cups into position with a 1” shank; it will make easy work of an otherwise difficult procedure. (I recommend use of a high pressure lube on the screw to preserve threads against the high pressures exerted as you turn the forcing nut.) The tool is in good condition after 65 years, nickel plating is flaking in places and the tool shows some marks from previous use. However, no seen rust, the threads are undamaged and the nut runs freely top to bottom.
