Description: 19th Century Wedgwood Hand Painted Landscape Blue & Gold Scrollwork Plate Nice antique late 19th century 8 sided octagon shaped bone china plate. Decorated with a hand painted landscape with mountains, foliage, trees and rocks in a purple and blue color scheme. The scene is framed by a gold encrusted Greek key band. With a blue border with Neoclassical gold scrollwork, flowers, and floral swags. Gold highlights along the edge. Impressed Wedgwood mark on the reverse. Has some crazing typical of bone china and some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 8 7/8 inches wide.
