Description: DC Comics, Batman # 398 Comic Book from 1986 (1st Print) COMIC HAND SIGNED BY ARTIST TOM MANDRAKE! (see my other auctions for more signed comics & cards). Comic was hand signed by artist Tom Mandrake at the annual Garden State Comic Fest 2017. It comes with both my COA (Certificate Of Authenticity) & POA (Proof Of Authenticity). Two-Face & Catwoman ! Comic is in a VF/NM or better condition. It comes with both my POA and COA! To eliminate some concerns as to the authenticity of an autographed item, I include in most cases, what I call a POA (Proof Of Authenticity), which usually is a copy of the flyer addressed to me, or my proof of admission to the convention and the page listing the artist as a scheduled guest. While I provide certificates for some items, my experience at early conventions is that, the table selling certificates is far removed from most of the artists. As a result, the signing isn't witnessed by the seller of the certificate, so how can this be guaranteed authentic? Another source of certificates are those printed up by the seller who guarantees authenticity!!! Just a thought not to get hung up on certificates. I have been selling signed items on ebay since December 4, 1998. I haven't had any problems with authenticity in all that time! I personally guarantee that the signature is authentic, and was signed by the creator, witnessed by me. If you prefer a certificate I also provide those upon request. I always pack carefully and securely, in a padded mailer, new bag and board, sandwiched between heavy cardboard for protection.
