Description: PCGS 1964 Kennedy half struck on a quarter planchet. The wrong planchet error is the result of a silver Washington quarter planchet being fed into a press that was striking half dollars, and was struck. It is smaller than a normal half, with most of the outer lettering missing, and much of the date. Scarce, with estimated 30-40 examples known for this date. MS64 lustrous with pleasing surfaces and original, lightly toned surfaces.
