This 1961 F100 comes as it came from the factory: 2 doors, long bed, 4wd and 4 speed manual transmission, vent windows and working 4x4. Includes a vintage-style AM radio, not installed. This Ford f100 pickup has a factory Ford 223ci (3.7L) Straight 6 Cylinder, known as the Mileage Maker or I-Block Mileage Maker (with the "I" referring to "inline") a true workhorse engine with plenty of power and torque to the axles with 4 speed manual transmission and selectable 2wd or 4-wheel drive, two speed transfer case giving it optimum performance both on and off road, 4x4 works. Ford continued with traditional pickup truck separated cab/bed design for 1960 4wd trucks, including f100 4x4 (this truck!), f250 4x4 and f350 4x4. Notably, In 1960 Ford offered 2wd f100 and 2wd f250 pickup trucks with a unibody design with the cab and bed as one piece, their manufacturing cost saving method was marketed as an “integrated body design”. Mid-way through 1963 model year Ford discontinued the unibody style and resumed selling traditional cab/bed design for all pickup trucks.
