Description: The bottom of the base has " W.A. Sheaffers Pen Company Made in Fort Madison, Iowa, U.S.A. " above this " Desk Set Single J07 ". It comes with a Dolphin or bottlenose inlaid stainless steel nib cartridge Fountain Pen which was produced from 1962-1964. The pen has an empty black ink cartridge inside and will likely need cleaning prior to use. Due to this I have not tested the pen and cannot guarantee it writes. When rinsing off the nib it did not have a little black ink in the water. The black base has a few edge nicks and a light scratch or two. I did notice the pointed tip at the end of the pen barrel is broken off. I will try to show these in photos.
