Description: 1950s CLOWN Snap Paper Popper COCA COLA PISTOL Toy Gun, Gas Station Promotional Click images to enlarge Description VINTAGE SNAP GUN TOY Fun vintage lithograph cardboard diecut ornate pistol shape snap gun measuring about 8-1/2" in size. Featuring a grinning clown advertising COCA COLA, this was a 1950s complimentary give-away to promote the product - probably through a gas station or possibly circus. Printed on each side with the same image, toy is shaped like a pop gun with pierced hole for holding - by cracking the gun through the air, it actually makes a snapping noise caused by the inside paper which pops out. These were made by Spotswood Spec. Co., Lexington, KY. - condition is excellent -- gun has never been played with or used - colors are bright and clean - the original price and hand written initials are marked on the card interior.
