Description: Originally purchased by me in Dec 1996. One of several Harleys I owned at the time, so not a lot of miles. Knee surgery (along with my recent 75th birthday) means it need to go to a new home. Note Harley/Fairbanks Morse magneto rather than distributor and coil.Running the small low mounted seat, but I have standard "one up" seat, post and spring (need to be reupholstered) that is included. The frame is a correct 1947 frame, not raked, not butchered, with all tabs still in place. The engine cases are matching. The paint (actually powder coated frame, fenders and tanks) is very good, but after 28 years, not perfect. look at the close up pictures.
