Description: Original WWII Okinawa 1945-46 Photo from a set by a J.K. Hofer of Freeman SD. A very small town so I'm assuming he was a serviceman on Okinawa at wars end, shot these quality photos and came home and put together this set of photos for sale? The set was 120 or so photos. I haven't seen any exact photos of these before so there are none of the usual official Signal Corps or other branches of service official photos or wire service photos.
