We could trace just three DAS steel cents. Extremely rare, unusual, intriguing, and undervalued. DAS's are deliberately made but called errors because they were supposed to have been destroyed immediately after manufacture. NGC does not grade DAS's but our grade is uncirculated. All DAS's have marks because the planchets do not get smoothed by the weak strike. But this specimen is much choicer than average and obviously uncirculated.
