Description: Lovely rich black 1940s evening wear dress. Beautiful sequin bow across the front chest with a keyhole center. Really in very good condition. The fabric is unfaded. No snags no odors. Not even to the arm pits. Very well taken care off. The bow is missing some sequins. I took many pictures for you to see it up close. Since it's black on black and they still cover very well, it doesn't distract from the elegance of this dress. There is a corner of the top right area of the bow where the thread has loosened (photographed). Built in Shoulder pads, bustle at the back, lovely pleating at the front below the waist and neat buckled shoulder design to the top of the sleeves. The original label has been removed, but there is a small remnant of it (see photo). Closes at the back of the neck with two original fabric covered buttons and one side metal zipper. Original belt is in great shape. The backing is unbroken. The only thing to note is a small amount of wear to the fabric covered buckle, but it is very minor. Pit to pit 16" Waist 28" Hips 39/40" Waist to hem Length 26" I took pictures in the sun and shade to show you the best lighting I could.
