All first edition points are present. There are three lines of publishing information. Cloth spine, primarily white background on front, thin neck and lower bill. Pictorial boards show moderate rubbing at corners. The front cover has light, general shelf soil but rear is pretty clean. There are a few insect nibbles in the surface paper at fore edges and rear. Spine is fully intact. Hinges are intact and binding is tight. The front pastedown has a bookplate and a name/date penned above it, otherwise ages are clean, with only slight age toning. Colorfully illustrated on every page. The story of a Yangtze River duckling who learned a hard lesson, but lived (presumably) happily ever after.
