Description: This is a very nice early ULSTER sleeve board whittler 2 blade pocket knife in excellent condition. Both carbon steel blades are nice and near full and have excellent snap and excellent 90-degree half stops. The knife measures 3-1/8" in the closed position. The tang stamps ULSTER KNIFE CO. indicates it's an earlier knife possibly older than dated as later stampings bear ULSTER knife USA and were later produced by another company after the rights were later sold by Dwight Devine and sons .The quality of this knife is exceptionally nice and has been loved and cared for by the previous owner. The handle scales are nice polished jigged bone handles with no cracks or damage. This knife features brass liners and pins and the handle displays a nice early shield pattern logo. The bolsters and back springs are very clean overall, a very nice knife to hold in your hands. This vintage Whittler makes a great everyday carry and perfect for a collection and displays exceptionally well. Feel free to ask any questions, and thanks for looking!
